Arden Hills, MN - Survived by his wife of 43 years, Gayle; daughter Christine (Nate Schutta); grandson Everett; siblings Lynne Mitchell -Becker (Rick Becker), David (Sue Mitchell) Sharon Mitchell and Steve Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Jane Mitchell; father, Richard Mitchell; and sister Jeanne Hennessey. He will be missed by family, friends, and colleagues.

Mitch accepted his Parkinson's diagnosis in 2013 with his customary humor and grace. He poured his characteristic energy into volunteering with both the Minnesota chapter and the National Parkinson's Foundation; starting a peer connection program to link newly diagnosed individuals with others who understood the journey — practical help delivered with his trademark humor.

A celebration of life for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 26 at a Lake Johanna Shores Fellowship Hall, 3200 Lake Johanna Blvd, Arden Hills MN from 1-3:30 (service @ 1:30 pm). Light refreshments following the service.
