Mpls, MN - McCary, age 77, of Mpls, passed away on 1/25/2026. Preceded in
death by his stepfather, James Scarver; mother, Eloyce Scarver; father, Sears Mitchell; and aunt, Arlice Grant. He is survived by his loving sons, McCary Mitchell (Maggie) and James Mitchell; brother, Michael Scarver; sister, Sheila Scarver; nephew, Darryl Ross Jr.; and his cherished grandchildren, Jayden, Gavin, Marilyn, and McCary Jr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 5801 Lyndale Ave. S., Mpls, MN 55419. Burial will follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Ave. S., Mpls, MN 55450; service at 12:30 p.m.
