Hopkins - Bjornson, Matthildur K. "Matta" Age 102, of Hopkins, passed away on August 23 2025. Preceded in death by her husband Jon, brother Einar, sister Ragnheidur, and son-in-law Scott. She is survived by her children Ragnar (Nancy) Henrik (Barbara) Edda and Erika; grandchildren Lindsey (Tom), Kristina (Chad), William (Samantha), and Erin (Aaron); 3 great-grandchildren and one on the way; many nieces and nephews. Matta was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, quick wit and love of her family. A very special thank you to her best friend and daughter, Edda for her gentle and tireless care. Per her wishes, there will be no funeral, private family burial at Ft. Snelling.
