Marlys S. Aalbers Obituary

Aalbers, Marlys S. age 86, of Bloomington. Marlys was the family historian and the constant companion to her husband of 65 yrs with whom she shared a mutual love of their lake cabin, traveling, the outdoors and spending time with their family. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #310 for many years and actively participated in many reunions of her husband's WWII 460th Bomb group. Preceded in death by husband, Donald and sister, Dolores Deger. Survived by son, Larry (Janette) Aalbers; daughter, Linda (Phil) Comstock; grandchildren, Greg Aalbers, Jeff (Michelle) Aalbers, Tony (Jamie) Oss, Joel (Kallee) Comstock, Nick (Casie) Comstock and Ryan (Lindsay) Comstock; 11 great-grandchildren with the anticipated arrival of three more; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, George Sornson; and brother-in-law, Jack Deger. Service Thursday 11:00am at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Ave. S. Private interment Ft. Snelling.
