Miller, Rev. Dr. Marlo B. 84, passed away at home in St. Michael, Minnesota on May 24, 2021 with the love of his life, Elaine, by his side. Marlo was born in St. Cloud and later moved with his family to Minneapolis where he graduated from Patrick Henry High School. He attended the University of Minnesota while playing on the Gopher men's basketball team. Marlo enjoyed life as a Lutheran minister and was gifted at writing, preaching and taking care of people. His smile and sense of humor uplifted many within his congregations, along with friends and family. Milt, as he called himself, was a tad more serious and competitive when it came to playing or watching the sports he loved. He is survived by his spouse of nearly 60 years, Elaine (Hogan) Miller; three daughters, Kari Vaupel, Krista (John) Thelen and Kiersten (Jon) Anderson; 11 grandchildren; and three siblings, Monte (Marilyn) Miller, Marilyn (Del) Blowers and Kay Antos. Marlo was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Agnes Miller, Scott Vaupel and John Antos. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 18th, at 2pm at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 7401 County Rd 101 Maple Grove, Minnesota.
