Mark Harold Vacura
October 2, 1942 - December 20, 2025
Mark Harold Vacura, 83, of Bloomington MN, passed away on December 20th, 2025. Mark was born on October 2nd 1942. He is proceeded in death by parents; Mike and Rae Vacura, and his sister Jean Vacura. Mark is survived by; his wife of 58 years Margaret, his sons Gregory (Kari), and Daniel (Heather), his grandchildren; Kirsten (Rody Seballos), Gretchen, Erik, Sam, Addie, and Zachary, his brother Jan (Nancy), his nieces and nephews, and his brother-in-law Mike Pflepsen. Mark held a Master's degree from the University of MN, and worked in Human Resources for 37 years, and he was an Army veteran who served in Vietnam. Mark loved being around family and friends; He enjoyed spending his time fishing, traveling, and entertaining. An avid collector of agates, and converse tennis shoes. He will be missed. Memorials are preferred to the Disabled American Veterans of MN, or the Jubilation choir at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Bloomington. Private family memorial services for Mark, and his interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, will occur at a later date.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
Tree Planting Timeline
Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
