It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Mark (Pug) Turnberg, 90, of Burnsville, Minnesota, formerly of Bloomington; owner of Weekend Freedom Lawn and Garden for 31 years. He died peacefully in the early hours of Saturday, December 28, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Becky for 70 years, and cherished father of six: Greg (Teresa), Kim (Sony), Dawn (Kevin), Lori (Todd), Kelly (Tim), and David (Gail); 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one due in April. He is also survived by his sister, Lynnea (Bob) and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in peace were his parents, Raymond and Dorothy, and siblings Don, Joan, and Raymond. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
