Minnetonka, Minnesota - Marjorie Goldbarg Doroshow, of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully on January 23rd, 2026, at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sullivan Doroshow; her parents, Arthur and Rebecca Goldbarg; and her sister, Barbara Goldbarg Melamed. She is survived by her daughter Robin Morrissette, and by Mark Morrissette and Joel Morrissette; her grandchildren Nicole (Michael) Martin, April Morrissette, Mathew Morrissette, and Shawn Morrissette; and her niece Audrey Cohen Sherwyn.
Born on December 26th, 1939, Marjorie lived a life defined by deep friendships, unwavering loyalty, and a remarkable ability to create community wherever she went.
Marjorie had a rare gift for connection. Throughout her life, she built strong, lasting friendships—relationships. She gathered people around her, turning neighbors into friends and friends into family.
She was a woman of many passions. An avid reader and lifelong lover of games, Marjorie was a proud member of the Mah Jongg League and a devoted player of bridge, Scrabble, and any card game that brought people together. For her, these games were never just pastimes—they were moments of laughter, companionship, and shared joy.
Marjorie was also well traveled and her journeys enriched her life and broadened her perspective. Above all, Marjorie was a loyal and loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.
Those who knew her will remember her kindness, her sharp mind, her playful spirit, and the way she made every place feel like home.
Marjorie will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
