Medina, MN - age 94, passed away peacefully on Aug 19, 2025. Marian was born in Fargo N.D. to Armin and Minnie Zuelow. She enjoyed cheerleading, skating and dancing. At age 21 she moved to Minneapolis where she later met and married Peter Karalis. She was a beautiful dancer and taught ballroom dance at the Fred Astaire Studios. She raised 3 children, family was the most important to her. Later she worked for and retired from Towers Perrin. A woman of faith, Marian was very involved with Divine Science and Unity Church, participating in bible studies, fellowship and numerous spiritual retreats. She loved traveling with family and friends, favorite trips included Peru and Germany. She had a caring, loving spirit and will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by husband Peter Karalis; parents; brothers Lloyd and John Zuelow; son-in-law Jim Skrypec. Survived by children Michelle Skrypec, Denise Karalis (John Weiss), Jaime Karalis (Jill); sisters Ruth Geske and Irene Davis; Grandchildren Angela Finn (Pat), Shereen Skrypec, Peter and Ben Karalis; Great Grandchildren Mallory, Colton and Margot Finn, Vincent Skrypec-Sellman and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
