Rogers - age 83, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on June 5, 2026, in Rogers, Minnesota. Margie was born on November 23, 1942, in Hibbing, Minnesota, to Margaret and Angelo DelGrande. She attended Cobb Cook Elementary School and Hibbing High School, where she played saxophone in the HHS marching band. After graduating from high school in 1961, she attended Hibbing Jr. College, then transferred to the University of Minnesota, where she earned her degree in elementary education in 1965. Margie began her teaching career in Cloquet, Minnesota. She later moved to the Twin Cities, where she continued teaching in the Anoka-Hennepin School District for many years. Passionate about her profession, she was a lifelong learner who pushed herself beyond her comfort zone and led the start-up of Champlin Elementary School's first computer lab. She retired from teaching in 1999 but never forgot her former students and was always delighted to run into them in the local community. Margie met and married the love of her life, Chuck Vonberg, in 1972. They made their home in Champlin and Otsego, and enjoyed playing cards with friends, cross-country skiing, biking, and traveling together. Beloved by her nieces and nephews, Margie was a constant presence in their lives, never forgetting a birthday or holiday. She attended countless Christmas programs, skating shows, hockey, soccer, and basketball games, band concerts, theatre productions, graduations, first Holy Communions, confirmations, and weddings. Margie had a gift for listening and always knew the right thing to say. Her kindness, wisdom, and willingness to always be there for others will never be forgotten. She touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed! Margie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Chuck Vonberg; her sister, Carole (DelGrande) Clusiau; her brother-in-law, John Vonberg; nieces and nephews, Maggie (Bruce) Baron; Jeff (Nancy) Clusiau; Monique (Tom) Aune, and Michelle (Angelo) Fraboni; Kelle (Vonberg) Bailey, and John Vonberg; her great nieces and nephews, Mallorie (Alejandro) Ramirez, Michael Baron, Eli Clusiau, Remy Clusiau, Juliet Clusiau, Reese Aune, Ethan Aune, Americo (Chloe) Fraboni, and Mia Fraboni; and her great-great nieces and nephews, Leo, Lilli, and Luca; Juniper, Euan, and Oliver. Margie was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret, father, Angelo, and brother-in-law, Charles (Chuck) Clusiau.

Heartfelt gratitude and sincere thanks to the caring staff at Wellstead Memory Care in Rogers and the staff at Triniti Homecare and Hospice in Elk River. Special thanks to her hospice nurse, Jess Plowman. Her compassion and empathy in caring for Margie and her family during her final days were immeasurable. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at The Church of St. Albert, 11400 57th St. NE, Albertville, MN. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by Words of Remembrance at 10:45 AM. Father Joe Zabinski will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place after the service at St Albert's Cemetery in Albertville, followed by a Luncheon at the Church of St. Albert.
