Lyle Root Obituary
Root, Lyle 91, a man whose life radiated faith and service, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on November 13, 2024. Born on June 14, 1933, Lyle's journey on this earth was one marked by his dedication to his community and his profound kindness towards others. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Caroline; siblings, Joyce Root, Erline (Ed) Nelson, Betty (Ed) Marlow, Forrest (Rae Carol), Lona Haskins; and dear friend, Gerald Johnson. He is survived by brother, Jerry (Dorothy); brother-in-law, Charlie Haskins; many nieces and nephews; adopted family, Marlys Johnson; Steve (Carrie) Johnson and their family. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 700 Western Street, Anoka, MN. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2024, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 700 Western Street, Anoka and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
