Lois Kallman Obituary

Woodbury, MN - Lois Kallman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to meet her Savior the morning of April 17, 2026. After a long struggle with Alzheimer's, Lois passed peacefully with the love of her life and their daughter at her side. Lois was born in Minneapolis, MN, in 1942 and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1960. She was briefly enrolled at the University of Minnesota, where she met a handsome young man in cowboy boots. It was love at first date, when Lois showed Maury the church she attended, and Maury told her, "You're the girl I'm going to marry."

Lois and Maury did marry, and they had three children together. She spent many years working as a dental assistant in Zimmerman, MN. Her grandchildren remember fondly the "prizes" she would bring home from the dental office for them to play with. Lois loved life. She was always laughing and making others laugh. She had a hand for crafting and an eye for all things beautiful. Those who knew her knew she always loved babies, good music, and chocolate! And boy, did she love the Lord! Her family and faith were most important to her, and those she left behind are grateful for the beautiful legacy she leaves.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Alice Bloom of Minneapolis, MN, sister Murlaine, and brothers Lester and Howard. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Maurice Kallman, son Guy Kallman (Liz), son Tom Kallman (Elisabeth), and daughter LeAnne Collins (David-deceased 2018)(Steve). Lois had 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

"Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice." - We look forward to seeing our beloved G-Lo again one day, fully healed. Your family loves you.

A celebration service will be held Monday, April 27, at 11 AM, with a visitation held prior at 9 AM at The Harbor Church in Hastings, MN.
