Seminole, FL, FL - Linda Lucille Potter (Harris), formerly of Minneapolis, passed away in Seminole, FL on August 13, 2025 at the age of 77. Alzheimer's never dented Linda's gentle, sweet, cooperative, loving spirit.
Born and raised in South Dakota, Linda practiced pharmacy for several years in Minnesota. Always a lover of small children, Linda then taught Montessori pre-school. before returning to pharmacy and working at some 70 Target stores scattered across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Florida.
Linda and Bob Potter were together for more than 30 wonderful years, enjoying such activities as boating, snowmobiling, skiing, RVing, cruise ship trips, etc. Linda was a member of America's Boating Club|US Power Squadrons and earned her Senior Navigator grade after passing all the club's education courses. An avid gardener, Linda had a huge flower garden with many unusual species at her St. Petersburg, FL house. She loved collecting and planting seeds and watching what would sprout.
Linda is survived by her husband, Bob Potter of Seminole, FL; son Jacob Larson of Maplewood, MN; sisters Barbara Ostlund of Stillwater, MN; June Robole of Sarona, WI; Betty Harris of Rapid City, SD; and brother Richard Harris of Rapid City, SD; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service and burial of ashes will be held on October 9 at 12:30 PM at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
