Leslie Rae Schmidt, 60, of Plymouth, passed away on Tuesday, October 15th after a courageous battle with mental health. Born on February 19th, 1964 to Richard Paulson and Elizabeth Paulson in Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard (Marilee); sister, Anne; and her step-father, Wayne.

Leslie is survived by her dedicated husband, Dan, her two sons, Eli and Torii; her mother, Elizabeth; mother-in-law, Holly; brother-in-law, Scott (Julie Ann); sister-in-law, Lisa (Steve); brother-in-law, Andy (Amy); step-sister, Joy (Rick); step-brother, C. Andrew (Cheryl); step-brother, Bill (Kathy); and her nieces and nephews: Sam, Kayli, Sydney, Tyler, and Gabriel.

She graduated from Dartmouth College in 1986 in Hanover, NH where she obtained her Bachelor's degree before going on to graduate from Medical School at the University of Minnesota.

Leslie will always be remembered for the tremendous love and passion she showed her family and friends- especially her husband and two boys. The strength and courage she displayed in fighting her battle with mental health inspired all who knew her. Leslie chose to be an organ donor, and that decision will now benefit nearly 70 individuals.

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 6th, 2024 at 11:30 am, at St. Lukes Presbyterian Church in Wayzata. Address: 3121 Groveland School Rd.
