Backus, Minnesota - Leonard "Len" Eugene Jensen III passed away peacefully on April 25th, 2025 at the age of 63. Leonard Eugene Jensen III was born on December 27th, 1961, to Leonard Eugene Jensen Jr., and Marilyn Joyce Jensen (née Miner), and was the loving father of Leonard Eugene Jensen IV and Anna Rose Jensen. In the 80s, Leonard worked to build the nascent technical infrastructure of the Pentagon and White House, helping to shape the new technical age of the late cold war. Despite his many accomplishments, Leonard always carried himself with humility, kindness, and a steadfast respect for others. Affectionately called "Mr. Minnesota" by his family and friends, Leonard embodied a life of greatness from humble beginnings.

A graveside service will be held at Elmhurst Cemetery at 10 AM on August 16th. In lieu of flowers, please direct a donation to Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota.
