Leon Godeke Obituary

Arden Hills, MN - In Loving Memory of Leon

The reputation of Leon as a true champion reached all the way from Milaca to Minneapolis. His laughter was a force, so intense and genuine that it lit up every room, bringing happiness to everyone. Leon roared through life loud and proud, just like the trucks he spent a part of his life driving down the open road.

He also had a generous heart, always ready to help his neighbors and dedicating his time to community volunteer work alongside his beloved wife, Susan. The golf course was a place for the game he loved, spending happy hours with friends. When his final journey came, he left this world softly and quietly, enveloped in the love of his family.

Leon leaves behind a beautiful legacy. He is survived by his wife, Susan; his two sisters, Cheryl and Dorene; his children, Joel, Craig (Lise), and Johnna; his grandchildren, Shaun, Andrew, Grace, and Lucie; and his two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Salvation Army or Bridging Minnesota.

A celebration of life will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with a visitation immediately after, on 06-04-2026 at Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Chapel, 1918 University Avenue NE.
