Ramsey - Lee Grube was born in Rhinelander, WI on June 7, 1956, son of Walter John Grube and Shirley Mae Grube (nee Bruns). He passed away on April 11, 2026. Lee was the second of three, his big sister was Linda Ann and his little sister was Lori Jean - Lee was the middle kid. He was nurtured within a good, loving, and Christian family. Lee graduated from Horace Mann High School in 1974. He went on to Fox Valley Technical Institute in Appleton, WI, receiving an Associates Degree in Electronic Technology in 1976. Then in January of 1977 he went on to UW Stout, Menomonie, WI, and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree (with mid honors) in Industrial Technology/Electronics Concentration and math minor in 1979. Lee met the love of his life, Angela "Angel" Bogucki and they began dating in 1985, in 1987 they were married. They were married for 29 years until her untimely death in 2016. She was a very loving wife and the best mom ever to their son, Lee Joseph Grube who was born in 1993. Lee spent his entire working career (33 1/2 years) at Honeywell Inc. in NE Minneapolis as a production engineer, engineering supervisor, and then as a senior new product introduction engineer working on Aerospace related products. Lee enjoyed the daily challenge and had a fulfilling career working with talented fellow employees for a great company. Lee's hobbies included classic cars, especially the 1967 Chevelle, model railroading, fixing things that broke, fishing, boating, being a Packer fan, and golfing with Lee Joe and father-in-law, Joe Bogucki. Lee was preceded in death by his loving wife, Angela Grube; parents, Walter and Shirley Grube; and big sister, Linda Ann Grube. Survived by the best son ever, Lee Joseph Grube, who made his dad proud every day; sister, Lori Grube; father-in-law, Joseph Bogucki; mother-in-law, Cheryl Bogucki; sister-in-law, Dawn (Thomas) Anderson. Funeral service will be Sunday April 19, 2026 at 3 PM with visitation at 2 PM at Lord of Life Church, 14501 Nowthen Blvd. NW, Ramsey. Lee will be laid to rest in a columbarium next to his wife Angela at Lord of Life Church.
