Mesa, AZ, AZ - Larry Stromberg died September 9, 2025, in Mesa, Arizona. He was born on September 20, 1952, to Ted and Shirley Stromberg in San Antonio, Texas. Larry grew up in the Fridley area and graduated from Columbia Heights High School in 1970. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota in 1974 and worked for many years as an accountant at Soo Line/Canadian Pacific Railroad, retiring after 30 years. Larry married the love of his life, Jean, in 1974. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Evan Bowar.

Larry is survived by his wife and siblings Julie (Jim) Erickson, Coreen Bowar, Linda (Gary) Haas, nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, canoeing, and hiking as well as golfing with friends and family. Larry loved sports, playing football, basketball and track in High School and cheering for the Golden Gophers Football.

The family would like to thank Noble Hospice for their care of Larry.

Larry will be missed dearly and remembered with love and laughter. Go Gophers!
