Even though I only talked with Larry at our Night to Unite Block Parties the last 3 years, he became one of my very favorite people... Kind, fun, funny, talking to everyone and just a real sweetheart. His sister, Leanne, has been a friend for 55+ years as we graduated from Robbinsdale High School together and just had our 55th Reunion a little over a week before we saw many service vehicles at his end of our street. After messaging her, I found out about Larry's passing and was not only in shock but so very, very saddened for his family. My heart is breaking for all of us to lose such a wonderful man. Sending love and hugs to Javan, Kari, Leanne and their families.Terri Thompson Neby

I’m waiting (wishing) for Larry to pop around the corner and say “Gotcha!” I just can’t believe this is real. There was so much more I wanted to learn from you. My friend. My mentor. I will miss our visits, breakfasts, calls and texts immensely. Larry made the world a better place to live and things will never be the same without him. My sincere condolences to Javan, Kari, his family and all who knew and loved him.

Larry was my CPA and I adored him. I loved his humor and how much he enjoyed work and life. I was so sad to hear of his passing; I will miss him a great deal. You know you love your CPA when you bring your kids into his office to meet him because he is so fun! I'm sorry for your loss!

I've known Larry for 60 years. He was 11 and I was 12. We remained friends thru out all these years; playing together in a rock band during the '70s, racquetball in the 80's and an annual Valentine's Day dinner for all these decades. Larry was a man of many strengths and talents. I still can't believe he has left us. He will never be forgotten.

Plant a tree: How does it work

When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.

An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.

After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.

Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Tree Planting Timeline

Orders placed in:

January - May

Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.

June - December

Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
