Buffalo - A beloved husband of Diane, Father, Grandfather and lifelong resident of Buffalo, Minnesota, passed away peacefully Sunday morning after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Larry was a man who truly lived life to the fullest. He was famously "rough and tough and about half wild," a self-description that perfectly captured his vibrant spirit and enthusiasm for all things in his life. As John Wayne once said, "Courage is being scared to death — but saddling up anyway." 1 A man of deep devotion, Larry's world revolved around his family and his faith, He loved politics, spending time on the lake, and caring for his cows and horses. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and an unmistakable zest for life that will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Diane (Ramthun Lange), 6 children Kole (Becky) Hance, Amy (Clint) Frederiksen, Natasha (Zach) Ordorff, Joshua (Kristi) Hance, Erica (Dan) Elsenpeter, and Joe Hance, 20 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild, 3 Step Children Stacey (Sandy) Kalway, Melissa (Chad) Pribyl, and Jeremy (Audra) Lange, 10 step grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren, and sister-in law Erva Hance.
