Bloomington, MN - Kendall Wallace Corbin, Ph.D, beloved husband, father and educator, passed away peacefully on September 13th, 2025 in his Bloomington, MN home, surrounded by family. Born April 5, 1939 in Memphis, TN to Kendall Brooks Corbin, MD and Eryl Portia Corbin, and grew up in Rochester, MN. A 1961 graduate of Carleton College, he went on to get his PhD in Vertebrate Zoology at Cornell University, becoming a lecturer at Yale University. He spent the remainder of his career as a professor of biology at the University of Minnesota. He is survived by his wife Susanne Gabriel Corbin; sons, Kendall B. Corbin (Irina), Ian A. Corbin (Michelle), step-daughter Angela Hasert (Tom), and grandchildren Marcus, Sylvia, Griffin, Max, Aiden, and Owen. There will be a celebration of life at the Bell Museum of Natural History located at 2088 Larpenteur Ave W, St Paul, MN 55113 from 5:00pm to 8:30pm, February 28th, 2026.
