Prior Lake, MN - Karyn is preceded in death by her mother Vivian and father Richard. She is survived by her sister Vikki (Don) Anderson, her daughter Gretchen Koehler Frana, grandchildren Madelyn (Andrew) Walker and Lucas Frana. Daughter Heather (Tom) Svien and grandchildren Jackson, Elle and Vivian. Karyn was a devoted Teacher in the White Bear Lake and Lakeville School Districts. She enjoyed her cross stitch projects, knitting and enjoying lunch with her friends. Karyn's wishes were to donate her body to the University of Minnesota Medical School. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hopkins Historical Society or the Humane Society.
