Vadnais Heights, MN - Karen Jean Rubey passed away surrounded by love on May 26, 2026 after a brief battle with ovarian cancer. Born on June 5th, 1948, she radiated beauty and kindness inside and out. Karen was a wife, beloved mother, adored and adoring grandmother and proud lifelong resident of Vadnais Heights. She lived life to the fullest with her dedication to family, friends and community. She will be deeply missed by her husband Gary; children Julie and Chad (Jen); grandchildren Annabella (Jake), Isaac, Natalie and Cora; 'adopted' daughter Jenny Miller, and her loving dog Phoebe. She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Georgie Wiegert.

A memorial service will be held at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 3676 Centerville Rd., Vadnais Heights, MN on Friday, June 26th. Service at 11:00 followed by "Happy Times" in celebration of a life well lived.
