Aaker, June Leslie Age 96, of Plymouth, passed away 2/15/17. June was born on 5/29/1920 in Minneapolis to parents Myrtle & Jay Leslie. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Leonard Aaker. Survived by sister, Jeanne Schreier; nephews, Robert (Connie) Schreier and Steven Schreier. June was a graduate of Washburn High, a charter member of Richfield Lutheran Church, as well as a long-time employee of the insurance industry. She also had a life-long passion for ice skating; she was a member of The Arena Social Long Blade Ice Skating Club. The family would like to extend a thank you to friends and the staff at The Pines.
