Eden Prairie, MN - Judy Riggs, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, at the age of 90. Born in Minneapolis April 25, 1935, Judy lived a life full of love, grace, and devotion to her family. Preceded in death by her parents Donald J. and Esther H. McKay. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, John R. Riggs, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories and unwavering partnership. Judy was the proud mother of four children: Kristy, Marcy (Doug) Wiesner, Scott (Jocelyn), and Susan (Jim) Sathre. Her legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride. Also survived by sister Bonnie Brown. Judy graduated from Minneapolis Roosevelt High School in 1953. She was a long time member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. Judy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A private family service will be held to honor her life. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Disease Research, a BrightFocus Foundation Program.
