Joyce Ann Jacobson Obituary

Rogers - Jacobson, Joyce Ann 78, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her beloved husband and immediate family on August 24, 2025. She was born August 10, 1947, in Minneapolis to Glenn (Dusty) and Clarice Dustin. She built an accomplished career where her determination and dedication inspired those fortunate to know her. She distinguished herself by attaining the Chartered Life Underwriter designation during an era when it was rare for women to do so. A woman of many intellectual strengths, she was admired for her wisdom and kindness. Beyond her professional life, Joyce found joy in creative pursuits inspired by her dear grandmother. She loved the beauty of the outdoors -- an avid walker, she often captured this beauty with her photography. She filled life with her colorful and playful spirit. Joyce is survived by her husband, Alan Jacobson, her beloved partner for 34 years; her children Micheal (and Pam) Downey, Ryan (and Amy) Jacobson, and Alyssa (and Justin) White; and her grandchildren who brought her great delight. She will be dearly missed by many treasured siblings, extended family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a niece, and a nephew. A celebration of life will be held Friday, September 5, 2025; gathering at 10:00 AM, service to follow at 11:00 AM at the Cremation Society of Minnesota - Brooklyn Park, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park MN. Cremation Society 763-560-3100
