Reno, NV - Joyce Carol Anacker passed away on October 29, 2025 in Reno Nevada. Born in Minneapolis Minnesota on April 17, 1961, she was raised by loving parents George and Caroline Anacker in the St. James and Mankato Minnesota communities. Joyce graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and practiced in the Minneapolis area before moving to practice in Reno.
Joyce was a 20+ year veteran of the Army National Guard, serving most recently as a Colonel in the Nevada Army Guard. She loved her country.
Joyce always put others first, living a life devoted to service. Giving, compassionate, energetic and strong-minded are words that immediately describe her. She will be missed beyond words.
Joyce is survived by the best friends in the world - far too many to mention. The world has lost one of the great ones, but heaven will benefit.
A celebration of her life will be held in the near future.
