Jon Edward Marble Obituary
Mpls, MN - Jon Edward Marble, 90, of Minneapolis passed away peacefully on
Thursday, July 9, 2026. Having studied Electrical Engineering, Jon
became a pioneer in computing as co-founder of a data processing
startup in 1960. Jon loved spending time on Lake Superior, was an
avid science fiction reader, and enjoyed traveling with his wife,
Marlene. He was preceded in death by his parents Esther and William
Marble, his brother William, his grandson Arthur and his wife Marlene.
Jon is survived by his sister Alice, son Tom, daughter-in-law Catherine, grandson Alex, and sister-in-law Kay Hallett. A memorial service to celebrate Jon's life will be held on or around 9/29.
