Eden Prairie - Plourde, John "Kelly" Age 82, passed away surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Frances Plourde; his wife, Connie Plourde; the mother of his children, Terry Plourde; and his brother, George Plourde. Kelly is survived by his three children, Patty, Chris (Lorena), and Shannon (Jennifer); 19 grandchildren; his sister, Jo Gisler; his brother, Roland Plourde and Connie's children; Billy Gentry and Sylena Williamson. A successful entrepreneur, Kelly built and operated his own rep agency in the hardware industry for over 35 years, leaving an indelible mark on the business world. Kelly served as a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam War, where he spent 13 months overseas from 1967 to 1968. He was a survivor of the Battle of Hue, one of the most intense and harrowing battles of the conflict. Visitation will be held on July 14, 2025, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 5801 Lyndale Avenue So.
