John was born on January 28, 1939, and lived a life devoted to family, faith, and kindness. He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. Hrkal and Gladys Hrkal, his sisters Beverly Oswalt (Bill) and Judy Groth (Dale), and brother-in-law Robert Slavik. Their memories live on in the hearts of all who knew them.
John is survived by his loving wife, Judy Hrkal, and their children: Deb Ayres (Mike), Steve Hrkal, and Craig Hrkal (Laurie). He was a proud grandfather to Alyssa, Taryn, Andrew, Jake, Tessa, Zachary, Brianna, and Joshua, and a cherished great-grandfather to 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
Celebration of life ceremony will be announced at a later date.
