Dr. John A. Beeman Obituary
Ocala, FL - Dr. John Albert Beeman
December 21, 1935 (Torrance, CA) - July 6, 2026 (Ocala, FL)
John was raised in Torrance, California. A gifted, self-taught musician, he possessed a brilliant mind and an uncanny ability to repair or build just about anything. Following in his father's footsteps, John graduated from George Washington Medical School and devoted his career to serving others as a compassionate OB/GYN physician.
On August 16, 1958, John married the love of his life, Barbara. Together they built a beautiful life, eventually settling in Minnesota, where they raised their family and John established his private medical practice. A lover of music, cars and crossword puzzles, John lived each day guided by the belief that we are here to be of service to others - a principle that shaped both his career and the way he lived his life. His kindness, generosity, and quiet dedication touched countless lives, and he will be deeply missed.
John was preceded in death by Barbara, his beloved wife of 66 years. He is survived by his eight cherished children: John (Michele), Bill (Moira), Martha, Tom (Chanthala "Noy"), Sarah, Mary, Peter (Beth), and Daniel; ten grandchildren: Nadia (Antoine), Lucia (Darian), Wyatt, Eva, Rose, Jack, Nikia, Michael, Nicole, and Josiah; and his treasured great-granddaughter, Amari.
A private celebration of life will be held by his family to honor his life and enduring legacy.
