St. Louis Park - Jerome Rudolph Davis Age 96, of St. Louis Park, passed away on July 3, 2026. He was born in Duluth, Minnesota, where he spent his early years. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1953 with a degree in Agriculture / Poultry Husbandry. Then, he spent three years in the US Air Force in the Philippine Islands supervising the construction of landing strips. After he completed his military service, he returned to Minnesota where he met and married the love of his life, Sheila Cooperman Davis. Together they built a family and traveled throughout the US, especially to the national parks and overseas. He worked for more than 50 years as a manufacturer's representative for veterinary health products in the Upper Midwest. He was involved in a variety of volunteer organizations, including the YMCA Indian Guides and enjoyed skiing and playing golf. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas Davis and Eva Karsner Davis; siblings, Paul Davis, Natalie Davis Levine, Frances Davis Green, Melvin Davis, Stanley Davis, and Shirley Davis. Survived by wife, Sheila Cooperman Davis; daughter, Stacy Davis Harrison (Price); sons, Jeff Davis and Marc Davis; sister, Patricia Davis Fradkin; and the large extended Davis family of nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to Fred and Ida Davis who were frequently by his side, Visiting Angels, Patty Fitgerald and Dianna Stauffer for their excellent care and friendship. Also, thank you to the staff of Parkshore and Parkwoods Retirement Community, St. Louis Park, MN, Park Nicollet / Methodist Hospice, and the N.C. Little Hospice for their excellent care.
