What a loss! Our family enjoyed the Ridley family visits we so enjoyed years ago. The family visits to Duluth and enjoying the Ridley vacations, at our home town in Manitoba. I had the pleasure of Jeff’s visits to Toronto, and my odd visit to Minneapolis. On behalf of the Ridley family up north, please know our thoughts are with you and the family.

Jeff and I were roommates at the U of M. Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of meeting you guys, but he always beamed about you when we would catch up with each other through the years. His illness and death were shocking to me because in our last correspondence we joked about our mortality and he gave me the impression that things were improving and he was going to be okay. My heart goes out to you and I’m so sorry for your troubles. Trying to arrange to get there for his celebration of life.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
Tree Planting Timeline
Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
