Richfield, MN - Age 95, of Richfield, MN, passed away May 27, 2026. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Victor, and her parents, Paul and Elizabeth Nystrom. Jean grew up on possibly the last substantial farm within the inner-ring suburbs, Silver Spray Gardens in Richfield. She carried on her passion and skill in gardening throughout her life. She served the community of Richfield in the League of Women Voters, Garden Club, community television production, Girl Scout and Cub Scout den mother and many others. She has long been the beloved matriarch of the family and will be greatly missed. She is survived by son, Mark (Dora) Lofstrom and daughter, Joan (Frank) Pelfrey; sister, Pauline Nystrom; grandchildren, Sara Zimmerman, Betsy De La Rosa and Angie Pelfrey; great-grandchildren, Bryn Zimmerman, Jade Pelfrey, London Pelfrey, Tyson Couch.

A visitation will be held on June 12, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Home Town Church, 2300 E. 88th St., followed by a Celebration of Life from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
