Jean B. Adams Obituary
Edina - A 70-year resident of Edina, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on February 24 at age 98.
After graduating from Washburn High School and the U of M, Jean had a long career as a copywriter in Dayton's advertising department, where she formed lifelong friendships. She was a gifted writer and artist, devoting much talent to the Edina Art Center. She served as an administrative assistant with the Edina Chamber and later, at Edina Public Schools.
Jean enjoyed travel, knitting, tennis, skating, cheering for the Gophers, and celebrating her Norwegian heritage.
She was married to Milton "Beaver" Adams for more than 60 years. Jean is survived by her three children, Kay (Jerry Smith), Susan (Rick Loyd), and Peter (Hazuki Adams); five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of Jean's life on Sunday, June 14, 2026, @ 10:15A at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 4439 W. 50th Street, Edina, MN. Arrangements - Washburn McReavy Edina.
