Brooklyn Park - Age 90, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, with family at her side.
Jan is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, John "Jack" Knip, Jr.; her parents, Francis "Fran" and Kathryn "Kathy" McNeely; her brother, Robert "Bob" McNeely; and her granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth.
She is survived by her children, Susan (Dan) Masterson, Karen (Paul) Botner, Sharon Knip, Karol (Rick) Joos, John (Jodi) Knip III, and Shelley (Kyle) Smith; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Kathleen McNeely; and 8 nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4 p.m. on August 2, 2026, at the Greenhaven Golf Course in Anoka, MN. Please join us as we remember and honor a remarkable woman who blessed all of our lives.
Memorials are preferred to the Wounded Warrior Project.
