Eagan - passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Zita, his brother Bill, and his sister Zita Marie. He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine; his brothers, John (Jane) and Bob (Pauline); his children, James P. (Beth) and Molly (Acy); and his cherished grandchildren, Lucy, Greta, Toshi, and Chiyo.

Jim will be remembered as a loving husband and incredible father. He had a larger than life personality and enjoyed his time at the Cabino and Florida surrounded by family and his many friends from Evergreen, 3M, and his world travels. He will be deeply missed by his family, many relatives, and dear friends..

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church, 4455 S Robert Trail, Eagan, MN 55123, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. A reception to celebrate Jim's life will be held immediately following mass until 3:30 PM at 7th Street Social, 2176 7th St W, St Paul, MN 55116. All are welcome and encouraged to stop by and share a moment, memory, or hug with Jim's family.
