James Brian Adamson Obituary

Plymouth - age 65, was known by many names — Jimmy, Jim, James, Pilgrim. He died November 25 after a short and valiant fight against cancer. Born in 1960 to Jean and Phyllis Adamson, Jim and brothers John and Jeff were spotlighted for years as the first triplets ever born at North Memorial Hospital. He was an accomplished competitive swimmer throughout his youth and college; he received his Construction Management degree from Mankato State University then forged a career in the commercial painting industry. Jimmy enjoyed 50+ years of an annual spring fishing trip to Bowen Lodge with family and close friends. Jimmy is preceded in death by parents Jean and Phyllis Adamson, brother John and grandparents. He is survived by brothers Jeffrey (Kathy), and Mark (Karen), sister Mari (Dan), stepmother Judy, his nieces, nephews, cousins and stepfamily. Many thanks to the North Memorial Hospital and Cancer Center teams for their extraordinary care and kindness. A private celebration will be planned. gearty-delmore.com
