Prior Lake - Jackie Johnston, age 79, passed away peacefully November 4, 2025. Jacqueline Rose Ciesinski, was born to Arlene Joyce Ciesinski (Wehr), on July 22, 1946 in Duluth, Minnesota.

At age 15, Jackie met Dennis William Johnston from Minneapolis. They dated for two years and at the age of 17, with the permission of her mother, they were married on October 26.

Jackie is proceeded in death by her husband, Dennis William Johnston, Sr., mother Arlene Ciesinski Wehr, her stepfather Albert Wehr, her biological father Ralph Scheldahl and her two brothers Larry & Jim Wehr. Sadly, shortly after Jackie's passing, we lost her baby sister, Carol (Wehr) VonEnde.

Jackie leaves behind her sons, Dennis William (Bill) Johnston Jr. and David Laurence Johnston, daughter-in-law, Puong Malay, daughter Dee Lorilee Johnston, eight grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren. Jackie is also survived by her sisters, Linda Wehr and Mary Schuster as well as many nieces, nephews & cousins. She was a beloved matriarch of the family & is deeply missed. She's truly a Woman of Distinction.
