Herb Gibbs Obituary
Gibbs, Herb 89, passed away in Arden Hills, MN on March 2, 2025. Herb dedicated his life to his family and a long-standing career with State Farm Insurance. He grew up in Riverside, IL and graduated at Blackburn College. Herb is survived by his beloved wife, Janice of 64 years; his daughters Holly Andreasen (Kelley), Victoria, and Jane Loftsgaarden (Tony); his cherished sister Barb Sudik (Neal) and their beautiful family. He was a proud grandfather to Kaitlin (Nick), Heather, Aeden, and Ana, and a great-grandfather to Ellis, Lila, Callan, and Bode. Preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Alvina Gibbs. Herb loved gardening, fishing, acting as Chef, jazz music and playing the piano and the melodica. Herb spread his positive spirit to those around him, and truly believed every day was the best ever. May Herb's memory bring comfort to all who knew him. A private family service to celebrate Herb's life will be held at a later date.
