Aakre, Harold Bernett Age 93, of Burnsville, formerly of Bloomington, on April 27, 2010. Born Oct. 24, 1916 in Granite Falls, MN to Norwegian immigrants, he was the youngest of 9 children. Harold was a pipefitter by trade. Preceded in death by wife, Betty; parents, Bernt and Synneve; daughter, Suzanne Nelson; sisters, Bertha Reishus, Elizabeth Larson, Josephine Johnson, Olga Flaten, and Ruth Oswald; brothers, Elmer, Bernard and Hjalmer. Survived by children, Merry (James) Lloyd, Pauline (Harv) Richardson; stepsons, Terry (Kathy) Wilson, David (Kate) Wilson, Tim (Ronnie) Wilson; 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday, May 1 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13801 Fairview Drive, Burnsville. Visitation 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.
