Bloomington - Gregory Thomas Salzl, age 76, of Bloomington, died peacefully with Jo by his side Saturday, August 2nd, 2025. He was born on February 4 th, 1949, to Peter and Margaret Salzl in South Minneapolis, MN. He married Jo Copley on September 26, 1987. They enjoyed traveling and visiting family in Tucson, AZ. He worked as a chef and a carpenter for many years. Greg was an avid gardener and loved to fish. He also enjoyed watching just about any sporting event that he could. Greg is survived by his wife Jo, of 37 years, brother Tim (Melodie) Salzl, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Margaret, brother Jim, sister-in-law Susan, and nephew Mike. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 4-7 PM at Willy McCoy's, 10700 France Ave. S., Bloomington, MN 55437.
