Eagan, MN - Gina Dawn Hoveland (October 8, 1960 - February 27, 2026), beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 27, 2026, at age 65 after a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Gina was a loving and dedicated mother that poured her time, faith, and heart into shaping her children's lives. She had a rare gift for listening and made everyone feel truly understood and valued. She built her life around faith, family, and friends. She was very loving, self-sacrificing, and loyal.

Preceded in death by parents: Don and Bonnie McCart; husband: Trygve "Trig" Hoveland; brother-in-law: Steve Holdgrafer; grandchildren: Isaac and Lainey Flintrop. Survived by children: Matthew (Rachel) Hoveland, Anna (Matthew) Flintrop and Jonathan (Tricia) Hoveland; grandchildren: Logan, Trygve, Bennett, Brynna, and Lucille; sister: Susan Holdgrafer, and many other loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Eagan Hills Church in Eagan, Minnesota. Visitation will begin prior to service at 10:00 AM.
