Fridley - Gerald (Jerry) Johnson, of Fridley, MN, a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away at the age of 75 on September 17, 2025.

Born on January 22, 1950, in Minneapolis, Jerry graduated Fridley High School and received a business degree at the U of M. Jerry started working for his grandfather's parade business in 1955 and took it over in 1977. Outside of the parade business and selling trains, Jerry enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with his wife and three sons, going on road trips, finding new theme parks, and attending sporting events.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Rod and Harriett, his wife, Debbie, and son, Matt (Jenny). Jerry was beloved and survived by his sons Erik and Bob (Alice), grandchildren, Barrett, Brady, Wyatt, and Emma, along with his sisters, Janene Hawkins (Steve) and Cindy Carlson (Mark), and many beloved nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A service will be held on Thursday, October 9, at Redeemer Church in Fridley, MN. Visitation at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m., with a luncheon to follow.
