St. Cloud, Minnesota - Gayle Louise LeGro on February 10, 2025, in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Born Gayle Louise Kersten on August 20, 1952. She graduated from Irondale High School and was a longtime resident of North Minneapolis, and later, Becker, and St. Cloud, Minnesota. Gayle will be interred with her husband, John, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.

Gayle was well-read, smart, and funny. She is missed by her son, Andrew, and daughters Michelle (Jerry Rockhill) and Suzanne (Adam Spriet). Special Grandma Gayle to her granddaughters, Gabrielle and Adriannah.

Gayle is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, John ('Jake') in 2020, parents, Tynne (Suronen) and Howard Kersten, siblings, family, and friends.
