Belle Paine - aged 78, of Belle Paine, MN, passed away May 5, 2026. Memorial Mass will be Friday, May 15, 2026, at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine, at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. A luncheon will follow immediately after the service. Gary dedicated 30 years of his life to a career in law enforcement. He began in his hometown of Belle Plaine in 1971, later serving in Le Sueur. He went on to become Chief of Police in Blooming Prairie, and in 1985 was appointed Chief of Police in Dayton, where he served until his retirement in 2002.
