Circle Pines - A son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, peacefully left this world in the arms of his mother, in his home by the glow of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree on November 16, 2025, at age 7, passing away from osteosarcoma cancer.
Less than 24 hours from his passing, this sweet Charlie Brown look alike was given his first kid birthday party by his beloved neighbors, filled to the brim with Snoopy and Peanuts gifts and decorations.
He was born to Jeff and Katherine Dobbs on December 24, 2017. Fulton had an infectious giggle that usually accompanied activities like time in the pool, his brother Paul hopping up on the tires of his wheelchair and snuggling his face, or time in his rocking chair with a treasured toy like Tom turtle. He was such a blessing to everyone around him, and brought so much happiness to those who cared for him. He didn't need to give or do anything, to serve or say anything to others, but he was simply himself and that was pure joy and gift. Despite all the numerous and grueling medical mountains he climbed including: a bone marrow transplant, several food allergies, surgical infection, brittle bones and lastly and unexpectedly cancer, his joy in just being delighted in and loved solidified in our hearts the words of his namesake Fulton Sheen that " life is worth living."
Fulton is survived by his parents, Jeff and Katherine, and sibling, Paul. Fulton was a cherished grandson of Steve Burrill, Andrea and Don Zeman, and Don Dobbs. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Patricia Dobbs, and miscarried sibling, Charlie.
A funeral service is scheduled for December 9, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Brighton (9:30 am visitation, 11am Mass, burial then lunch). The family invites guests to wear white to celebrate Fulton being in heaven, and navy accents to honor Our Lady of Sorrows. In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored if you'd send a donation to Rein in Sarcoma, Midwest Ronald McDonald or Red Bird Ministries.
