Edina, MN - Frances Leslie Siftar (Chickie) passed away peacefully under the compassionate care of Little Hospice of Edina, with friends and family by her side. She was 2 days shy of her 99th birthday. She and her husband, Alfred Siftar, were beloved in their Morningside neighborhood where they lived for over 65 years. Chickie was an artist, international traveler, arts education administrator, and bonne vivante. She will be dearly missed by her children, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends, especially her best friend Victor.
Her private interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery. Donations may be made to nonprofit organization, N.C. Little Memorial Hospice.
