Mpls - Eng, Frances Elaine With love and sadness, the Eng and Eng-Bue families announce the death of their beloved mother and grandmother, Frances Elaine Eng, on August 8, 2025. Frannie, or Grandma Fran, as she was known to many who loved her, died at Mt. Olivet Careview Home in Minneapolis at the age of 94. Frannie was known for her warmth, intelligence and wit, not to mention her SPUNK. She will be greatly missed by an ocean of family and friends. The family offers their sincere thanks to the staff of Mt. Olivet, who cared for her since 2021, and to Moments Hospice, who were incredibly caring and compassionate in her final days and weeks. A gathering of friends and family to remember Frannie's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Peace Presbyterian Church, 7624 Cedar Lake Rd. So., St. Louis Park, MN. Interment at a later date at Silver Brook Township Cemetery, Wrenshall, MN. Memorials preferred to the Minnesota State Services for the Blind or the Macular Degeneration Association.
