Plymouth - Berthiaume, Eugene Leo age 94, formerly of Plymouth, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025. He was born on October 9, 1930 in Minneapolis the son of Maxim and Mary (Rushoff) Berthiaume. On June 9, 1951, Eugene Berthiaume and Rosemary Casey were joined in holy marriage at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plymouth. God blessed their marriage with six children, a set of twin sons passed shortly after birth. Gene formerly was employed at Tri-State Drilling Company for 46 1/2 years. Gene was a work-a-holic! He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing in his younger years. Later in life he loved watching other people work. He also was fond of summers at the cabin and of lake life! Gene was dubbed The Godfather of Lake Ossi. He was a water skier and an excellent family man who loved children! Survived by his loving children: Nola (Rick) Raymond, Chris Berthiaume and Merrilee (Dave) Olson; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law: Sally Berthiaume; a brother: Maxim (Sharon) Berthiaume Jr.; many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his wife Rosemary, a son Michael Eugene, a daughter-in-law Diane Renee and by seven siblings. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 19th, 11:00 A.M. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 155 County Road #24, in Wayzata, Minnesota.
